Where does sponsorship money go? Running a robotics team costs a lot – an average of $25,000 per season, and upwards of $50,000 if we qualify for the world championships! Expenses include tournament registration fees – $10,000-15,000; parts and supplies – $2500-$5000; travel expenses – $5000-$20,000.
